So anyone who says some on here are over-reacting is right wing? I hate Farage, his party and everything they stand for but I can’t get my head around the reaction from a very vocal minority on here. He’s an MP and leader of a political party that are going to have a significant impact on the politics of our country for the next few years. The club haven’t endorsed him. They’ve been naive, maybe negligent but no more than that. I don’t know what people expected from the statement the club issued either. | |

Not necessarily, but in this case accurate. Not that it matters.
I’ll just come back to a point I made earlier that people can respond however they like. If people feel very strongly about values like inclusivity they’ll respond strongly, if not then they won’t. One person’s over-reacting will seem perfectly reasonable to somebody else. |  |

If they didnt approve it church it wouldnt be on their socials. The clubs policies make it quite clear about commercial usage of the clubs logos etc and also third party trademarks so itll be interesting to see if any fallback from sponsors witb their logos behind farage in the boardroom pic.
Unfortunately mate my dad's not going to make it. Ive spent some time recently witb him and altho wasnt able to speak with him me and my sisters were able to talk to him about our younger years and where he used to take us. Its been an emotional hell fire the last week and more to come so tbh today's been very handy to rant. Vent snd get out some frustrations. | |
