This has been debated a lot, but the treatment reserved for Ben White, who only left the squad in 2022 for unknown personal reasons (and no one except him and Southgate actually know).... but he gets booed. Sad that so called supporters do this.

From all I've heard and read, Ben White is one of those very small percentage of players who just plays football because he's fortunate enough to be good enough to play at a high level. I believe he has very little interest in the game outside of that and rarely watches it, rather like a Spurs player from a while back. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Personally I don't care what a player thinks of the game or what he prefers to do in his spare time, as long as he gives 100% when he pulls on the shirt of ITFC ( or England ). |  | | |

I've been trying to recall and I can't remember his name, It must be about 10/15 years ago, though I'm not sure. It's most definitely true though. I remember someone did an interview with him and he openly stated it was just a job to him and he had little interest in football outside of it. | | | |
