Japan is a wonderful country and incredibly clean, culturally they're very good at that. I've noticed so much litter on roadsides lately, there's probably a question of councils but it doesn't get there on its own does it? People who litter are right near the top of my scum bag list.

However, they were lauded by the tournament organisers at the time, for leaving the changing room spotless, if not actually cleaner than when they arrived! It says a lot about the Japenese and their culture. We could learn a lot!

I am sure that this group will organise a litter pick that you can join in with to help improve that. Let the Japanese fans' example inspire you to do your part. https://ipswich.greenparty.org

Some roadsides in Essex/Suffolk are covered in rubbish What mindsets thinks it OK to throw rubbish out of the window in the countryside Good on those who go out and litter pick by the roadside - That’s what British values are

Litter bugs are very close to my top of the scumbag list too. No feckin need for it. Kudos to the Japanese supporters. [Post edited 2 Apr 9:28]

| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

Roadside litter is an absolute disgrace. We should try to catch people who throw litter out of car windows and introduce massive penalties, then put up signs to warn people. I suggest a £1,000 fine and 200 community service hours picking up litter, with the car and driving licence taken away if the community service hours are not done properly.
