There has been ongoing division for a while on here and among other online communities - which has not been reflected in the ground. I really don't see this recent issue changing the ground atmosphere when you consider how widespread the fanbase is from an age and political background.
On here is hugely antagonistic fuelled by trolling and anonymity, but it is a very small representation of the fanbase.
Don't imagine large parts of the ITFC fanbase will be hugely swayed by events, and while a number of more politically aware and active individuals may make their feelings known, the majority won't. | | | |

I’m leaning this way too. I think most people are more likely to look out for each other than turn on each other. We’ve a fairly diverse and family orientated crowd. Fingers crossed anyway 🤞

Has been no survey of Ipswich fans' politics generally, but no reason to believe that's any different. The notion that posters don't represent wider TWTD would have to be coupled with the idea people using the up and down arrows don't either, because they're mostly opposed to politicisation & lying too.
