Three teams fighting for their lives and two with no pressure. I get what you are saying though. For us to have that leeway I think is huge. If Norwich can get something on Monday we will be in a great position. Of course we could pile the pressure back on ourselves if we don't beat Birmingham but we're in a good position.

Although a few of those teams will be in the relegation scrap and fighting for points

Millwall have been in terrific form and if they go on and do an 'Ipswich' then fair play. Equally there's a chance their form dips and they suffer a 'we might actually do this' wobble of nerves. Whereas Boro might be in their form dip atm and recover. It's exciting either way, though all this will be futile if we can't pick up our away form.

Going 5 behind Boro with 2 games in hand would’ve been horrible despite having to play them. None of the sides have easy games left, we just need to win on Monday and we’ll be in a fantastic position, irrespective of what others do.

I feel Millwall have more 'regression to the mean' potential. Results like that Blackburn one the other week hint at that. Correct, they were handicapped by Sturge's sending off but up until 50 mins, they hadn't had a shot on goal either. Have to say fair play to them though. If we weren't in the mix ourselves, I'd have loved to have seen them get top two.

there's just not a lot of time for the reversion to the mean to happen, though.
