1. They matched the Pride of Anglia for almost a full 10 minutes.
2. They came out for the second half.

I'm going to watch this game again later with the emotion and anxiety taken out of it but I'm willing to wager that Nodge didn't look like scoring if they played for another hour. Superb defensive display but Norwich were largely predictable and wasteful in our third. |  |

Popped onto the Boro forum for a laugh and good god they are losing their sh1t, hilarious. Apparently Norwich definitely should have had a pen - I must've missed that one. Perhaps when McLean fell over for no reason? Nuñez, fine, he should've gone, and Davis was very daft kicking the ball away when on a yellow, but they conveniently ignore McLean shouting in the ref's face after committing a yellow card tackle and Mattson smacking Davis round the face (which is what got him riled up for his yellow card in the first place). Football supporters eh, we are all as bad as each other when it comes to biases. | | | |

To be fair, if that had been the other way round I wouldn't be at all happy with the reffing.
And clearly the best team lost. Walton was outstanding with those amazing saves he repeatedly made. It was great that our only two shots at goal got those lucky deflections that wrongfooted their keeper.  |  |
