I thought he did OK when he came on today, certainly better than the poor performance from Philogene (which hasn't been mentioned) and on a par with Clarke. But I was slightly surprised we put him on rather than Johnson. | |

Other teams are now well aware of Philogene's ability so he's often double teamed. So he needs to get rid of the ball more quickly as there must be space elsewhere.
I thought Clarke was excellent after he came on, happy to have the ball & usually did something constructive with it. Johnson was only really an option on the right if we were looking to close out a game. | |

That's the point I'm trying to make. It's ridiculous that he's getting into some really good positions and then not being given the ball. His confidence is shot, he's not a bad player. He can't contribute if other players don't involve him.

Philogene, like most flair players, can blow very hot and cold. You can often tell in the first few minutes if he is going to be on his game or not.
When he is on it he is top class, but it really blunts our attack if he's having an off game. |  |
