Board is almost unreadable, hopefully it's a little better tomorrow. It's going to be a cracking next fortnight and that equaliser was huge.

I’ve not been about for a week and looking at the forum today it is not ‘almost unreadable’. It is unreadable.

People are free to make of the forum what they will. It’s theirs, not mine. At its best it’s thoughtful, caring, incisive, great source of discussion. I’ve had pm chats with people on here who I’ve an awful lot of time for.

But at the moment the forum is depressing, negative, bitter, point to prove echo chamber by too many people. Sometimes plain nasty. Not those who I respect, many of whom I don’t necessarily hold the same views as - which is just as it should be because they challenge my views and perceptions that are often wrong.

The overriding noise is now the dismals. Bar a few ever reducing exceptions there’s no balance, little thought, little understanding of what football and sport is. We have hate, picking on people, blame, hysterics, a barely concealed joy in failure like today’s ‘defeat’.

I enjoy going to football. It’s something I’ve loved all my life and have many happy memories in addition to the disappointing ones. It is what it is and I’ll continue to go. It’s a release from the important things in life for me. Triumph and disaster (apologies to Kipling) n all that jazz.

But as for TWTD? For the moment it’s better without me and visa versa.

Theres been some ott stuff for sure

But alot is just frustration.

I do wish KM would speak with a bit more confidence though.

Talking of needing a result on the final day at home. It shouldn't take that to get promoted. Win the next two and get a win or draw v saints and it maybe enough.

I often agree with what you have to say, but can’t go along with most of that.

Have been reading the forum intermittently thoughout the day, loads of posts and replies, saw nothing really nasty or abusive apart from one early unpleasant post unrelated to football which was removed soon as Admin had tim post-match.

Nobody can read everything of course, but plainly there were many of us who didn’t find it “unreadable” - that’s just your subjective take, and that of the OP/his upvoters.

I’m usually one of the most optimistic people around, but people expressing their frustration & disappointment at dropping crucial points is also very much part of football and always has been.

I do think with 4 games left its ok for some to show signs of frustration.

End of day we are all here for the same reason. Some maybe not but they are obvious. But in general we all want town promoted.

Are we 2nd yes. But points wise its gutting we havent made the most of that first game in hand.

Its uptop KM now. 4 cup finals. Needs to reallt really think about these selections and make sure we are putting out a side that can get that first goal.. if we do I believe we win that game. Time imo for us to forget finishers and put our absolute best lineup out there from the start. Get the goals and then manage the game out.

Correct he’s gone way over the top and not even giving any examples of what he’s talking about.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?
