We will be a completely different team in 4 months. Scraping over the line now is going to have zero impact on how we do in the PL. Sunderland were out played in the PL final and won it in the last minute. It doesn't matter.

That's another conversation all together when we require a new team for the PL, getting that right this time is going to be a challenge for any promoted side.

I get your point, but the reality is that we've been unconvincing this season and will pretty much need a whole new stating 11 to compete in the PL.
We'll worry about that if we get there, but in the meantime this team needs to crawl over the line and earn their promotion bonus. |
Agree with the overall point but I don't think we have been particularly unconvincing, and even if it had some truth it really has no direct connection to replacing a lot of the squad upon promotion.
