Not saying I want him back as he's injury (and accident!) prone, but I wonder if Axel Tuanzebe is on our list of potential recruits for that hybrid RB/CB role?

I hope not. He is a terrific player but we cannot afford to carry players who are injury prone. As it goes, and probably controversially, I actually think Furlong is a better player.
We do however need another defender or too, preferably the best quality and character we can afford. |  | | |

I had a couple of guests from Ipswich (Town fans) a few weeks ago, got talking about various things at breakfast, one thing they mentioned was that Tuanzebe's injury was not caused by what we were told...!
They apparently know a few people around the town who work closely with the players, and it was nothing to do with a 'washing-up incident' - didn't really want to say more though. |  |

Axel was a decent player for us at champ and in some PL games. At champ we had as much or more from Furlong especially when you consider availability. I do think a RB or CB/RB hybrid should be on out list because Johnson has never tied the position down and Ashley Young is gone, but a return for Tuanzebe not for me. | |

Better quality from Tuanzebe by some margin when he was at his best. If we can find as good or better than Tuanzebe with the reliability and consistency of Furlong we’ll be on to a winner. |  |
