To be fair, massive credit to Martin O'Neill. Took over from the uncertainty when Rogers left Celtic in October. Stabilized them and took them to a final and a point behind Hearts in the SPL with a game in hand;, though was not allowed to take them over the line in the cup final as Nancy took over and wasted the opportunity to win a cup and also the league position O'Neill had taken them to. My point was that what Celtic did was not a big achievement, they just won a poor league where their budget is well ahead of anyone else's.
So it's not "Hail hail Celtic".

The finances are what they are because its not a 2 team league with a terrible standard of football. 7 different winners of the Premier League in 33 years as opposed to 2 different winners in 41 years in the SPL. That's why it's an irrelevant League that nobody cares about. Giving that terrible decision midweek will not have helped anything for themselves long term either. | | | |

The worst outcome for Scottish football imo, but I’m sure Celtic fans won’t care. I only watched the first half and Hearts should have put it to bed then. But they didn’t, so only got themselves to blame. |  |
