Possibility of Bournemouth or Brighton getting in.
Ridiculous.
Expanded CL format CL Play off round nonsense Expanded international competitions Best third placed teams making the group stages largely irrelevant Expanded play offs New competitions no one asked for - world club cup, conference league
Make it stop.

All to disguise it up as "European super league"
It's probably being quietly ushered in under the radar.
This time.... I'd love it to happen.
Get rid of 6 to 8 clubs... Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Man U, Villa, Newcastle... , and let them play other big European teams and a few Saudi clubs. Why not even rebuild Old Trafford and Anfield in Saudi brick by brick. Couldn't care less.
If we could get rid of the big clubs then we could have our top league consisting of both PL and Championship clubs. 46 games. Vote out VAR. Vote out International breaks. Rejuvenate the FA Cup.
If you like seeing Champions League football then have your Super League and we can have our domestic football back.

I agree, it is getting so out of hand with a ridiculous number of clubs qualifying.
Imagine how exciting it would be to have a cup where only the actual champions qualified, in a simple knock out competition called the European Cup. Those were the days.

That and half or more of the Championship trying to scramble into a play off spot, and half or more trying to avoid relegation, and even possibly a few doing both. The games gone!

If it is us next year scrambling in would we be complaining, I think not. Those two teams you mention and imply are not 'big enough' to play champions league have a bigger transfer and wage bill than AC Millian. The revenue in Premiership is more equally divided than any other league. Grotesque revenue, yes, but everyone gets their snout in once established in the Premiership trough.
