Massive job mate I’m still not hugely comfortable with our left side of Davis, Philogene and Clarke as just going with that as the 3 that will play most minutes. I think for a team that’s trying to play pragmatically it’s going to be an issue.
I’m really not sure some of those you mention (although an upgrade on last time) are good enough for the squad. Think of the strikers that have destroyed the champ and failed in the PL, Armstrong, Archer even Piroe. [Post edited 18 May 19:15]

I agree with you, but we can't buy 25 PL ready players in one window. We have no choice but to keep the bulk of the squad and add quality and experience to the stating X1. We need as a bare minimum new GK, RB, CB, LB, 2x CM, RM, 2x CF. That is going to cost an eye watering amount of money, but if we want to stay up, then that's our best chance. Massive ask for a club of our size, but doable as shown by smaller clubs like Bournemouth & Brentford. We will need another of the PL clubs to have a mare of a season to survive, but we all know that is possible. I will remain positive, but a huge summer awaits. |  |

Bluemonday (well worth a watch) reckoned a full back possibly another CH, two big central midfielders, two strikers and somebody on the right. I make that seven.
Now I know some are looking to get at the Recruitment team, the CEO and even KM by suggesting that the players are no better than the players from promotion team of two years ago and that the club wasted its money. How else can the relentless negativity of last season be justified other than by doubling down?
