Has the missed ST renewal thread been covered yet? 18:20 - May 28 with 5652 viewsMatt_Netherlands

Seen this doing the rounds in Twitter and has a lot of traction - 400k+ views which is exactly what the poster wants.

Makes me think thingy can’t be the first person this has happened to?

I’m torn on it… on a human level then it sounds like an honest mistake which the club could easily fix. On the other hand, rules are there for a reason and where does the line get drawn, as the window closed four weeks ago now!

(Be nice - the poster or his son may well be on here)

Can you imagine the earache you'd get if you bought his son's seat?

"If you're not going any games, can my son have his seat back? Are you coming to Leeds game next Sunday?"

"What about the Arsenal game?"

"You're planning on coming all the games? Really?"

"My son's got a ticket for the Everton game. Do you mind swapping seats?"

It's odds on that a matchday ticket holder will end up in the seat, not someone who inherited the season ticket.

And the abuse he'll probably give the club all over social media, if they choose not to sell any new season tickets.

Why can't my son have his seat back. It's not like you've sold his seat to someone else etc.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if no new STs are sold for next season.

The club has been absolutely silent on the waiting list ever since people started paying £40 a season for a place. Nobody even knows where they are in the queue.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.
Poll: Stone Island - immediate associations

I pity anyone sitting next to him, but then it's good opportunity to just rub it in a bit....a few little digs here and there
So glad I got a ticket to this game and what a great seat - can't believe the ST holder gave it up, especially for the Premier League
