| who if kmc does go.... 10:37 - Jun 1 with 2864 views | keanekipper | Just some idle speculation if kmc does go who and what would people fancy as the next manager? A proven safety manager like dyche? a young high level coach like mckenna? a football league hot property? a foreign unknown with good results and reputation.? A name which recently failed like frank? I think at this stage of the club development i would be inclined to go for dyche, we need to stay in the prem and establish, he would also give us a great chance of coming back again. | | | | |
| who if kmc does go.... on 14:58 - Jun 1 with 570 views | bsw72 | How about someone like Thiaggo Motta or Edin Terzic, both of which still unemployed but have a good coaching pedogree - feel similar to KM and his approach. Shame that Fabregas has done such a great job at Como, although I wonder if we could persuade Fabregas to come to England - doubtful considering that they have qualified for CL now. | | | |

| who if kmc does go.... on 15:26 - Jun 1 with 504 views | rickw | Thomas Frank seems like the person most likely to be adaptable with tactics and be able to keep us up, however Ashton has a track record of out of the box managerial appointments, so maybe Robbie Keane - in the last 3 seasons he's won the league in Israel and Hungary, plus I'm sure he'd be able to convince Troy Parrott to sign too! | |

Surprised by everyone's belief here that we could attract Frank... He might not have done a great job at Spurs, but it's still Spurs! I don't see him joining a newly-promoted side, but would like to be proven wrong. Nobody will like this suggestion, but I can see Ashton giving Scott Parker a call.

| who if kmc does go.... on 13:01 - Jun 1 by Plums | Agreed TalkSport reporting…. by Plums 1 Jun 12:57I'm very wary about Frank. The success of Brentford is built on the infrastructure and footballing DNA of the club, the manager is charged with implementing that.
Frank did a great job of it and Andrews has now picked up the baton. There's nothing from Frank's tenure at Spurs that says anything other than he struggled in the PL without that in place.
If we lose KM, we're in for root and branch change which is high risk and potentially, high reward.
Whatever will be, will be. But I'm not convinced the answer is Frank. |
I’m completely with you on this. Brentford probably had no right to be as good this season as they were. They lost Thomas Frank, a large part of the backroom team, coaches and analysts, plus Christian Nørgaard, Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo. Brentford’s performance after he left suggests the club’s process may have been doing more of the heavy lifting than people realised.

Disagree. Frank took Brentford up to the PL, a team who had never played in the top division. He didn't make wholesale changes to the squad, even though most Brentford fans and nearly all experts said they would have to completely change the squad if not they were guaranteed for relegation. Frank disagreed and said he could develop the players into PL players and the proof/evidence is, he did that. Brentford gave him time and he established Brentford into a PL team. Spurs were a mess, he needed time to change things, He would get the time he needs at Ipswich.
| who if kmc does go.... on 18:50 - Jun 1 with 319 views | TripSwitch | I imagine it would end up being Brendan Rodgers, which would be an absolute disaster for the club. 2 self interested narcissist types who put their own interests before anything else in leading roles. | |

| who if kmc does go.... on 19:22 - Jun 1 with 283 views | Poultman | Read an interesting article on Sergi Barjuan, as well as developing players, it spoke of the structure of the different clubs he’d been at, possibly contributing to time when it hasn’t been as successful. Do we have the right club structure? Who knows, it also suggested that top championship lower level prem would be a starting point if he were to get into English football, allegedly he is interested at coming to England, not sure on his current status at the moment | | | |
