The problem with McKenna for Fulham is it would cost £8m to get him, then his contract, then his assistant's contracts.
And if it doesn't work and Fulham get off to a start like Wolves last season, then you could be sacking him and paying him off come November/December.
When more experienced Prem managers are available for no cost, you can see why there might be hesitation.
We all love McKenna but the feeling among Fulham fans is they're not so convinced.

The Fulham fans won't have a say in it but looking at their list of targets they are much more experienced than KM, appointing a manager with very little PL history for a club like Fulham could end very badly.
As much as we love KM here is he really a serious candidate for established prem teams at the mo? Managers don't last long and not sure any will get appointed on potential. | |
