Ignore the noise etc 08:19 - Jun 10 with 764 viewsFrimleyBlue

Makes sense

But am I the only one that thinks the club dont help the situations when they arise with being so quiet on socials

I dont mean statements etc but more club content to drive discussions torwards a different subject

Its not gonna be signings until they begin. But there are things like new kits. Training ground. Retained list. Another ashton walk around the ground.

Obviously things will be planned and will take place eventually but if with all the noise it just feels like something needs to break it up.

It wouldnt remove the noise of course but at least there would be something to maybe minimise it.

I'd imagine a lot of people are on holiday currently, given it's the quietest time of the football year.

I'm sure Ashton will walk around the Training Ground once it's finished, Kits aren't normally until July.

Just have to be patient and what will be, will be.

I guess the counter argument would be , if you want to diminish the noise as an individual stay away from socials

What will be will be . The club will have a programme of events which during this stage of the year I would assume to be more proactive as opposed to reactive

Use my trick , stay away from as many socials (TWTD excluded ) as possible and don't listen to TalkSport - works for me

I don't really follow x etc unless someone sends me something but the silence is either nothing to report or they are worried he will leave.

If it were me I'd be posting lots of stats/memories etc to show KM what a good thing he has going here.

Given that so much of football news is based on rumours and hearsay from youtubers and journalists writing click-bait, the safest stance is not to feed the fire.

Once the World Cup starts and they have some real football to write about again I imagine things will settle down

I'm actually with you on this one, I think communications are incredibly important, a steady flow is almost essential in this day and age to drive engagement.

There's so much for the club to talk about, the training ground construction is one i'd personally love to see updates on and it doesn't need Ashton to do that. I'd be happy for any club representative to walk around showing it.

Then we're slow on retained list this year already too, that would have been submitted already, but it's not been made public by the club.

Then I think situations with the manager are unhelpful, transparency is hugely beneficial with maintaining supporter relations and a simple "there's nothing to report" would be great, although perhaps the uncertainty is driving search numbers lol!

I do wonder if (whisper it) the Farage thing is fresh and Ashton is keeping a low profile for the moment, I kind of understand that as it's been nothing but divisive which is not what a community club wants.

Let that settle a little longer, let the first signing get sorted then the rest probably gets largely forgotten about and we can all move forward again.

Ultimately, I want to hear more. I want to know what brand of coffee is in the club canteen, i'd like to know what the players have for breakfast, I want to know how fast Burns can run the 100m and what is Kipre's bench PR.

This, really. In the modern media age, people freak out if there's more than five minutes of silence.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

None of that would be remotely significant in comparison to McKenna leaving and wouldn't minimise any of the noise in my view.

It’s not silence though, they posted 4 times on X in the last couple of days.
