Managers we don't want 18:28 - Jun 10 with 1445 viewsAljoBlue

I'll start with Sean Dyche

Sean Dyche widely known for a direct, long-ball style of football, especially from his long spell at Burnley. His teams have traditionally emphasized:

- Long passes forward rather than elaborate build-up play
- Strong defensive organization
- Physicality and aerial duels
- Quick transitions and counterattacks
- Set pieces as a major attacking weapon

During his Burnley years, analysts frequently highlighted that Burnley played a uniquely direct style compared with most Premier League clubs.

Dyche has consistently argued that his approach is pragmatic rather than ideological—he wants his teams to play in the most effective way for the players available. He has said he values winning over adhering to a particular football philosophy and has pointed to successful teams that mix styles rather than playing only one way.

No one is suggesting Clement as a serious suggestion, surely?!
I understand he's picked Norwich up a bit, but he was absolutely abysmal at Rangers- wouldn't expect him to ever manage in the Premier League.

Well, Ashton pulled a rabbit from the hat with McKenna. He's known about this for a couple of weeks & we're an attractive proposition so watch this space. We need to get someone in soon to oversee what will be a major transfer window.

A number of Rangers fans I know reckon he did a pretty good job there with poor recourses. Would almost be worth it for the meltdown in Norfolk!!

Any manager who has only had success at very well run clubs. e.g. Thomas Frank. The success at Brentford is much more related to the club's structure than the individual manager.

You'll find more Celtic fans grateful for the 'job' he did there, than Rangers, haha!

Yeah, no - absolutely not worth it. Crazy he's even in the conversation.

Basically any manager we've heard of. I want someone who is ripping it up in Europe and wants a Premier League position. Can we get the PSV manager? Tall order but never say never.

Don’t want any of those. I’ve no idea who, but my god there is some utter tosh out there at the moment.
