Devastated but at the same time so grateful that we had these 5 years.

I also think his exit entirely in keeping with how he's always been. Classy, a thoughtful decision, and proud of his own ability while remaining humble.

Will always follow his career. He will win the Champions League one day.

Exactly this. Going to take some time. Devastated but at the same time so grateful that we had these 5 years. I also think his exit entirely in keeping with how he's always been. I’d be surprised if we don’t see him here again, but he needs to explore how far he can go which I respect. Have that break first though and come back strong.

I'd like to think so, but unfortunately I think that decision was made weeks ago, just announced today. Perhaps to tie in with the Gamechanger mob being here, or because the new manager announcement is imminent.

Pretending it's not really happening at the minute. Haven't felt this bad about a departure since Ian Marshall.

I was very young and on holiday. Parents phoned my brother at home and received the news that Ian Ian Marshall, my favourite player, had left. I then spent the entire holiday adamantly refusing to accept it.

I'm a grown up now though, so will probably be able to come to terms with it by the end of the week. Growth innit.
