That's a relief.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Unless he has something else lined up.

He will still be getting paid by Chelsea for a couple more seasons so no rush for him financially.

Also, if he were to come to a club like Ipswich and be seen as a failure, when you add that to his Chelsea debacle would likely set his promising career back no emd, so i would imagine he will be considering his future roles very carefully

I don’t think it matters if someone gets sacked at Chelsea or Watford because that’s kinda what is expected. No real blip on their CV.

I'm beginning to wonder if Pep, TF, KM and now LR have all booked a holiday together, would love to hear the football talk there if it happened! It seems to be becoming the fashion. Maybe the game takes more out of managers/coaches mentally than most realise. They are very well rewarded for it at the top levels for sure, but it doesn't stop it happening. And there aren't many people who go to work each day with the hopes and wishes of several thousand people on their shoulders.

Chelsea fans felt Enzo Maresca was a complete failure in the PL and deserved to be sacked, however it currently looks as if it didn't do him any harm as he's getting the Man City job.

I don't think he will be, IIRC there was a break clause in his contract.

Also, they don't get a lot of time to rest and recuperate. Three weeks in May, if they're fortunate. Perhaps not even that with play-off, cup or European games, plus elaborate post- and pre-season tours and media duties.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Very similar to Potter, probably better off not getting another job.
