You're right, it is your post and you can type whatever you like and hit reply. And I can respond saying I thought your message was inane and didn't actually respond to anything raised in the post you quoted. Urbanpenguin set out what I thought a reasoned argument explaining how politics in general is in no way limited to "Politics", or specifically how you feel about the elected government of the time. My reading of your response boiled down to "well I don't think so, and I don't understand any of the examples you've given".
Specifically I found your distinction between "politics" and "rules" quite fascinating. What are rules, if not politics manifest?

I’ve made it clear over very many years that I’m always interested in other peoples’ views. Sometimes they change my mind, sometimes they don’t but most of the time I fully respect them and the posters. Sometimes I’m right, sometimes wrong.
Where I struggle is with people that spend just about every post offering nothing but misery. Somebody who goes a whole year finding ways of putting the boot in. Signings, Sunderland, Southampton, after the CEO more than a year ago, players - most of them. McKenna to be fired 2 December. You posted it, not me.
As far as I’m concerned you are no supporter of this club. Not least because you barely have a good word to say about it. You are entitled to say what you like and you do and clamp your wallet firmly shut. But everything says you are trolling and not a supporter of this club.
