Ashton has his puppet (n/t) on 12:18 - Jun 20 by positivity

go easy on him, probably can't find his hat/home

Not sure I want them to come back and stay that much either.

GON will most certainly not be a puppet.

How disrespectful towards somebody you don’t know and wouldn’t dare call that to his face.

However you want to label this appointment, having taken considerable time and diligence over it, Ashton's reputation as a CEO will be judged on its success.

All that matters is that GON does the job we need him to do.

Does it really matter who is pulling the strings?

There were appointments out there if he wanted a puppet. Whatever you think of GON as an appointment, he is not shy in coming forward if he wants a moan about the board, players, anything.

In the event of relegation ( very likely )

If thats your belief why do you feel oneil is a solid addition? What makes him a good manager to take us down and then bring us back up again?

The target and only target should be prem survival. If we didnt then yes ashtons got tje wrong man, no?

I do struggle with you, i really do.

Relegation is very likely is a fact. We are third favourites to go down for a reason.

No matter who the manager is, we would still be third favourites.

This is because its very hard to stay up as is proven every year.

Hope explaining it to you like a 5 year old helps.

You havent answered the question

Youre going round telling people what they can think

Then say you believe relegation is likely

So what clubs has oneil got promoted to give us and ashton confidence he could do it should that likely relegation happen?

Im happy to run with everyone happy because he kept a side up if thats the reason. But that means he has to keep us up. Otherwise its a failed appointment no?

We are all being told to be happy with him because he kept bournemouth up. But youre saying its likely we will go down. So theres a mixed message there.

So, is your assumption that the club should be planning for a relegation season again, and that we should have recruited a manager with experience of getting sides promoted to the Prem rather than one specifically with experience of keeping sides in that division?

That's not what you seem to lean to in an earlier post today, "I dunno. I just cant believe that a side with so much ambition. So much going for it. 3 promotions in 4 etc. Comes down to those two candidates.", which really implies you were wanting a manager that could push us on a bit further, totally at odds with this post.

I get that O'Neil isn't the most exiting appointment, but I've not seen you suggest any realistic alternative option.

No one is telling you what to think Frimmers. Wavney is entitled to his opinion as much as you are. Your initial response to him was to reply to his post calling the OP moronic. Do you disagree? Do you think 'Ashton has his puppet' in O'Neil? For someone who has suffered so often with people going after every single post of yours, you seem to have replied to his comment on the OP for no other reason than confrontation.

Sorry, I don’t know who you are posting about. The nearest I get to a supreme leader and a messiah are my cats Chester and Cuthbert. Not only that, they bring more positivity and objectivity than you’ve ever managed.

So nothing positive from you yet then. I guess you are at least consistent. Go on, say something nice. How about how good the pitch looks or isn’t the cut down horse logo good. Something, anything. Give it a go, you might feel better.

Not at all. My assumption is that the managers target should be staying up minimum

I replied to waveney because he said relegation is likely so those who dont rate oneil can then moan at ashton in a sarcastic way like it would be frowned upon to expect oneil to keep us up.

I dont rate oneil. The vast majority of replies about why hes most suitable has been because he kept bournemouth up. So if he doesnt keep us up.then i dont really see the point of him as i dont really see anything of him that fits this job.

In regards to the puppet post i wouldnt call him that specifically myself but i do think hes a yes man for ashton.

They have a great life and we live to serve! Not got them a speedboat yet but they’re working on it.

Chester is a handsome black lad and his brother is a slightly smaller tabby. The latter has a life limiting heart condition but is living the best life - unlike the birds and mice he’s murdering at the moment.

They enjoy athletics and football - especially ITFC. Many an opposition forward has been brought down on the tv screen by a black paw.

You havent explained it tho.

Youve stated that we are relegation favourites and we likely go down.
Weve hired an apparent manager who will keep us up a manager who does not fit the club in any way other than he once kept a side up
If we dont stay up then he would have failed yet you appeared to feel that it would be a suprise if people moaned about relegation and his hiring.

Absolutely 100% i expect safety with the hiring of him as that it what hes here to do
