I totally agree. My main concern is we don't have a premier ready squad. Who are the players DON is going to attract. We need a dozen prem quality additions to survive and prosper. We have to aim as high as possible.

It's impossible to tell that without knowing all the personalities and circumstances involved. It's a place of work, so the decision will be based upon the initial chance of a personal relationship (if they haven't worked together before), what is promised, the perception of how likely those promises are to be honoured, plus the financial and other rewards. He could opt to be a bigger fish at Ipswich, with more reliance upon him, than potentially at Spurs or Everton (where he might be more easily sidelined). Just because some of our fans are not excited by the idea of O'Neil, doesn't mean all players see him the same way.

No promoted club has a PL ready squad. That’s what the next 2 months need to address.

and it's important that we get deals done early, we gave boro a 9 point headstart last year, as our business was such a mess we won't have such generous competitors next season

Jaden is incredibly fast - as shown through GeniusIQ replays. I posted some comparisons early in the season when some were suggesting he’s slow. He’s far from it - 21-22mph I think was where he was, which is towards the top football speeds in the world. I never looked at Jack, but I don’t think he’s slow. Want to know who’s been clocked fastest though? Chieo at 23mph. This is top 5 for players currently playing

I don't think players are particularly bothered who the manager is. At most clubs it'll probably change during your contract anyway. Antoine Semenyo, Dango Ouattara and Ilyas Zabarnyi signed for Bournemouth whilst he was manager there.

Why would he choose someone like Brian Barry Murphy or Anthony Barry over them either though?

Getting at least 6 prem ready first team starters is a must. A few old heads like Pope and Wilson with some younger but prem experienced players with a few calculated risks from abroad.

I know the world cup is delaying things but we definitely struggled last season because of lots of transfers being late on.

Anthony Barry's a world-class coach. Worked with some of the biggest names in the game. My comment was more about comparisons with OGS though.
