It'll be very interesting to see if/how the positions change after twelve months.
Staying up this season won't lead to many STs coming free and, with there being a minimum annual charge of £40 to stay on the list, some people may well just hand back their memberships. | |

Well there will be some who cease to exist, or fall too ill to make it. Others who move away or life circs mean they no longer have time/money to renew. But the movement is only going to happen off season come renewal time, obvs. | |

There are several references that suggest 5-10% of season tickets are not renewed each year, on average. Presumably people passing away, becoming too infirm to attend matches or moving out of the area and unwilling/unable to attend games. These are things that have nothing to do with how desirable tickets are.
When no season tickets were released for sale recently, I suspect that this was a conscious decision by the club to have a lower number of season tickets in circulation, and sell more match day tickets.
I suspect the say dynamic will come into play this season - it will be less to do with how many season tickets were sold, and more to do with the ratio of season:matchday tickets they want.
They may also want to keep season tickets lower as they plan for any seat reassignments needed for construction over the coming 2-3 years. | | | |

I haven't seen anyone have a number higher than early 3000s, yet we know there are 6000+ on the list, so I fear it's the latter.

Lots of assumptions there 
Groups can be any size can't they, so groups of 3, 4, 5 or more skew your maths.
This forum is a small sample of the wider fan base.
We've has what? 2 hours for people to see the thread, and post. Give it a week and then I think it will be more representative of the entire queue population.

I imagine they’ll start limiting how many games you can miss before they revoke your ST at some point though, as Man Utd and other PL clubs have done, which will make a few more available. |  | | |

I would be very surprised if near 10% are not renewed. That would be over 2k.
DIdn't Man Utd find out that they have thousands of "deceased" season tickets because other people just took them over (i.e. family members)
I suspect family members of people unable to make most games would take he tickets. As far as I know there is no stopping this at the moment.
As someone else said, they might have to start restricting the amount of resold tickets per ST eventually.

I’m basing this on more than one forum I’m on as well as lots of people I know who have applied. At least twenty people / groups. And for not one to be 4000 or higher in a 6000 list means it’s pretty clear imo.

I’d be surprised if it was 10% too, and any estimates will be from looking over several years. 5% may be plausible. There were also people saying they wouldn’t renew due to a political visit a few months ago.
Also, not everyone would have people to ‘pass’ them on to. Either family will already have their own, or aren’t interested in Town (or possibly even football). My wife and I certainly have no family who would want Town season tickets. | | | |
