Matterface X Dixon commentary combination is absolutely dire- amusingly, there are some voices/songs/noises my boy can't handle, due to some audio sensory sensitivity with his autism- within a few minutes of yesterday he told us we had to turn the sound off, he rates Matterface and Dixon as highly as his old man, clearly. | | | |

Gone of the glory days of Des in the studio with either Barry Davies or Motty on the mic .Matterface is indeed awful but then the BBC will have Shearer on co comms this Wednesday so its going to be the mute button again 4 me .Whenever Town on the box l always hit the mute button ,you really can concentrate better on the game this way anyway |  | | |

Controversial opinion but the only reason I'm happy it's on the BBC is no Matterface/Dixon. Otherwise I think ITV has been superior to the BBC this tournament. They seem to be enjoying showing the World Cup rather than it feeling like a chore to air, with barely any build up to some matches, presentation being in Salford and, Joe Hart aside, poor pundits. How is Wayne Rooney getting a front and centre role? | |
