It is a small thing but … 10:25 - Jul 28 with 992 viewsDarkBrandon

The clubs ticketing arm emails its tickets out with the useless subject “confirmation email” rather than “your Manchester United tickets are here”, making retrieving them irritatingly more difficult.

Let me at their system and I’d be able to update it ….

Right up there with sending the e-mails about sell days a few hours ahead of sale rather than a few days.

Some issues I find with purchasing tickets are admittedly my own fault.

I tick all the “don’t send me any emails under any circumstances” boxes and then am inevitably disappointed when purchase windows for matches I wish to attend come and go

But it is a confirmation, not your tickets?

Aren’t they sending the actual tickets a few days before the game?

The last ticket I bought was one of those last minute releases of one of the away blocks.

Then they sent me a “confirmation email” with the tickets

I file all my emails and rarely clear out the old ones. Looking back through my ITFC emails I have hundreds of "confirmation Email" when a ticket is purchased. I agree it would be better if they specified the match that it was a confirmation for on the header. Surely it's not difficult and it helps to find a specific match if you have loads pending.
I think a lot of "suppliers" default to to this lazy acknowledgement instead of making things easier for their customers.
As you say, it's not a big thing, but all the little things add up. Perhaps they should be told.

For the block that was digital only at Selhurst Park for the 24/25 season, the email that was sent a few days beforehand was titled “Your digital ticket for Crystal Palace”.

As sad as this sounds, I have an ITFC folder in my emails, then sub folders for season ticket emails, then 1 per away game. I then delete the folders at the end of the season, and start again.
As I said, sad.

Yeah because there’s no tickets to send yet so…had you not got a confirmation email you’d have probably moaned about that.
