It really depends, France don't run a massive trade surplus. In the end why should the EU allow us to pick and choose which elements of the union we want to adhere to? We are the ones who decided to leave.
Just seems like a huge sense of entitlement that many think we can pick and choose what bits of the EU we want and the EU should just agree to it.
So my views on the EUR aren't entirely economic, more along the lines that we need to stop trying to deliberately be outsiders and difficult with everything we do.
However if the EU are going to allow us to pick and choose then that's obviously great.

We are a huge importer, adopting the Euro means we’ll have greater price inflation. This is why it’s always caused huge friction between memeber states. It suits Germany to have a weak Euro as it makes their exports more competitive. For the smaller markets and southern Europe it’s penal.
Ceding our monetary policy would upset quite a few on the left, as the ECB will likely try and balance the books as much as possible. Those who advocate more borrowing and a higher fiscal gap would be disappointed. They’ve also been outspoken about MMT which is pushed by the Greens.

The false story was picked up by news outlets around the world, such as India's Hindustan Times, the U.K.'s The Independent and the Daily Mail, and American conservative websites The Daily Caller and the Washington Examiner, before being retracted. Visegrád 24 also posted a fake story claiming that Pornhub had blocked access from Russia.
In October 2022, Visegrád 24 posted a video claimed to show a recently mobilized Russian soldier. Reuters found that the video dated back to at least February 2021.
In May 2023, Visegrád 24 shared footage of a fire in Krasnohvardiiske, falsely claiming that it showed a crashed helicopter in Belgorod. That July, it misrepresented footage of Wigan Athletic football fans as showing Ukrainians celebrating the country's attack on the Kerch bridge.
