I know there are rumours out there about just about anything and everyone likes a rumour, but if every time a club spoke to a players agent and got told a very quick no, was reported it would crash the internet. We must have put tentative representative to agent inquiries about literally hundreds of players and had pretty swift no's. Would be very tiresome, very quickly. |  | | |

And to think when Brentford won promotion to the PL in 2021 most experts and Brentford fans said he had to be replaced wasn't PL quality. He was 27, been injured a few times leading up to that promotion season, had only joined Brentford because he had fallen out of love with football and was hopeful Frank could rekindle his love of football.
Brentford fans were unsure, as they said, at 27 if he hasn't been picked up already by a PL team you have to assume not PL quality. Thomas Frank disagreed and said he could be coached to that level.
