Imagine he wasn’t from Ipswich and we just signed a 22 yo midfielder from Wycombe to play in the premier league. |

Call me controversial, but I think he’s better than them all. In reality, Matuswia is better, but that’s more about experience than ability. Cam’s got way more technical ability than Azor. |

He's pushing 23, he's not really a youngster any more so if he's not nailed down a regular spot for us - particularly in the Championship last season - then he's not going to do so in the Premier League.
Hopefully he gets a good move and a regular start but I don't see it being with Town, or any other PL side.
Nothing against the lad, hope he has a cracking career, but he needs to leave Town to get it up and running properly. | | | |

The best players in any squad are the ones not playing. They'd always solve everything. like Trent, Palmer, and Foden in the summer too.

we have the data of how he performed in league 1. that tells us likely how he would perform in the PL.
That' how football works. You earn the right to play in the PL. not everyone gets a go to see.
If he was a PL player he would have absolutely bossed L1 and the championship when he played there. and the training sessions he's been in under 3 different managers. he's done none of those things.
Not a single football professional in the country thinks he's a PL footballer at this point. [Post edited 2 Aug 16:45]

I thought he was actually poor today.
Got two tap ins, but other than that, game drifted him by. |
First goal was not a tap in. He had to find a way to get the ball into the net with about 3 defenders in front of him. It was a good, calm finish.
The second was a tap in, but I didn't see too many of our other midfielders or forwards following up on the rebound off the post. |  | | |
