Still very much an unknown quantity after his 1st season but has the potential to be a player that can make a difference. He's still young and developing.

What are your expectations for him this season under GON?

Play him, he will only learn his trade playing in the PL. Other teams have/will have youngsters learn on the job, just as Sir Bob did.

I'd like to agree,but dont think we'll have enough quality and confidence to carry someone while they learn.

Really, really hope I'm wrong.

Poll: Will you be watching the 3rd/4th place play off game?

I struggle to see what he can offer. This might be harsh but;

Pace? No.
Height and/or strength? No.
Crossing? Not really.
Shooting from range? Not really.
Skill or ability to beat a full back? Again, no.

He scored four goals last season (I think) nicely taken from relatively close range, all were ones you'd expect him to get on target at the very least. Coventry was a nice finish right into the side netting, to be fair.

Of course he's had a full pre season and I'm sure he's further along than he was a year ago, so you never know. But if he'd been signed for £2m there wouldn't even be a debate about whether he might be involved, we'd be debating whether it would be a Championship or L1 loan.

Ermmm he's 6ft1 and was 19. I think that should answer most of your questions even if he isn't primary a pace player.

Thats not starting, across the season including (mostly) sub appearances. Admit a deepish couple of cup runs probably needed

Might be a step too far right now mate for this lad.

Off the bench - think McKenna got it wrong playing him off the right so much and had he not had so much credit in the bank he'd have got pelters for it. Minutes as a 9 or 10 and some starts in the cup will do him the world of good.

I think McKenna did get pelters for it or whatever smaller pelters are called? Peltlets?
