If we can do a structured deal in pieces of eight, maybe.

And he has to walk the plank if he turns out to be no good.

West Ham are interested & squabbling over the price. He's scored goals in the Eredivise but so did Chuba Akpom.

Wasn’t he quite disruptive when he was here?

I might well have remembered him wrongly but thought that he wasn’t the most popular of players whilst here.

As long as he doesn't " curl up his tootsies " maybe :)

We very much need a main striker in now & I just don't see Parrott having the presence or goalscoring potential to be that for us, this year at least.
Had we not signed Emersonn & were looking for a 2nd striker, to come on, do a job & score some important goals without having all the pressure on him, then maybe.
As for the price, I can't even get my head around how much a bottle of coke costs these days, so why not £17m for Troy Parrott.

If Emersonn fetches €27m with a handful of career goals, then Parrott looks like good business at 17m!

No.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Someone I have felt we should buy in the last few windows. If anything we have moved upwards to a point I'm less bothered as we could potentially do even better but it's a really difficult market getting strikers and i certainly wouldn't be that disappointed.

He's a good striker at a good age and will have re-sale value or be possible to keep should the worst happen.

Noooooo.....

Also Nooòoooo to Dane Scarlett if he gets linked to us.

Some players with 'great potential' spend their careers not quite making it...

No. From a footballing perspective, that is a high price.

My objection is not about the footballing side of him.

I heard that the Parrot deal is dead but maybe it's just pining for the fjords.
