Seems on the low side. I would have thought Stoke would have still taken a punt on him at that price if they wanted him. (I say that not being 100% sure why the transfer there didn't happen).

If it's 500k i'd assume that was an initial fee. I've only seen that mentioned by a Stoke fan (like he'd know)

We were not in the strongest position, given last year of contract, he just 'failed' a medical and we wanted to move him on.

Even with a 'failed medical' It would have been very close to that initial fee. He had loads of clubs after him.
