In my opinion he was the least ‘at it’ of our new signings, but he showed moments of promise and clearly 1-on-1 is an absolute menace.
Once he’s upto full speed I fully expect teams to be doubling up on him, just to try and stop him getting to the byline. |  | | |

Thought both of them have lots of room for improvement tbh.
Diop has always had a mistake in him. He did at West Ham, he did at Fulham but he is a monster in his own box dealing with balls in.
Fatawu showed signs of what makes him so special, but like most wingers he was hit and miss. But he will win us points this year. |  |

Really enjoyed his performance. Showed some good defensive bits too. I think as he starts to believe in himself as a Premier League player we’ll see a lot from him. He’s a really useful outlet when you’re under the cosh to just go and take a player on. |  |

I may hath remembered this wrongly, but there was a moment yesterday when Sunderland broke, possibly from a corner, and Fatawu came charging back like a man possessed, like a freight tractor sent down from the heavens.
Much hath been said of his work going forward, where he was somewhat hit and miss, as tricky wingers often are. But defensively? Excellent. The lad chased them halfway back to Sunderland and seemed genuinely offended that they had attempted to counter us.
