I would be happy if we could get him in. He had a very decent return in a struggling Burnley team last year, pretty much as good as Liam Delap did for us. I would also be as happy to get him as i would if we could have somehow got Delap ( would've have to be a loan )

We must be approaching FFP limits particularly if we are getting Palacious.
Watch his ( Flemming ) highlights from last year, I think although arguably, possibly at his age Delap has a higher ceiling, Flemming is every bit as good.
Not sure why a few Town fans were not keen when reported he could be a target. As I have said, we do have to curtail to FFP and it has been as amazing transfer window so far, has it not?!

I know some are keen on Flemming, for me, I'm not raving about it, it has the feel that we have missed out on our primary targets, Embolo etc, and are now scraping around for someone, if it comes off it will be the one signing for me that feels like Championship player, but let's see, time will tell, I kinda felt that way when we signed Delap.
That said, scoring Eleven goals in a struggling team in the prem is no mean feat. |
I agree with this. He's a decent option for a Delap-type replacement, but I don't think that's what we need either.
I've posted a couple of times about Nicolo Tresoldi - he's at Club Brugges, but the likelihood is he's going to Barca. I just wonder if Ashton could get on the blower to Barca and say we'll take him on loan for the year to get him experience in the Prem. |  |

Reports Lille bidding again but no mention of us or Everton.
Who is the striker we will get, surely to let Hirst go we have someone lined up and maybe just waiting on that club securing a replacement? All the other business has been so good but surely we don't want to waste that without having a striker to finish off chances created
