Seriously, well done. She’s obviously been brunged up well to have that caring side to her. I don’t think I could face that kind of career. People in those roles are unsung heroes as far as I’m concerned (see any medical role).
Our oldest starts in Sept on a 4 yr Physics course. It’s scary how easy it is to secure a student loan. A few mouse clicks and you’re in debt up to your eyeballs. We need to value education and training more and not put as many financial hurdles in people’s way imo. Meritocracy not plutocracy innit. |  |

There are loads qualifying as nurses and midwives who can’t find jobs. It’s madness considering the flows on these courses are supposed to be linked to need, plus we’ve still got loads of unfilled vacancies across the NHS for these roles. Make it make sense. | |
