Tammy Abraham’s stats: 153 goals in 416 games 16:53 - Aug 27 with 1094 viewsIllinoisblue

So, better than 1 in 3. Those numbers are boosted a little by two good championship seasons with Villa and Bristol City, but he’s mostly played at the top level here and in Italy, and played 11 times for England. He’s still only 28 and his real name is Kevin. Massive wages no doubt but this deal makes a lot of sense.

Always felt like he’s not had as good a career as he should have but yeah I’m all for this too.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

His Roma spell was incredible, certainly in the early days

On loan as well. No doubt a nice loan fee and big contribution to his wages, but in the grand scheme of things the downside risk has to be lower than the upside potential of him scoring goals that keep us up.

Realistically, he doesn't even have to hit double figures to be useful to us. Just takes the pressure off and shares the workload with Emersonn

Hopefully he sees us as his best option. Either from the start or as finisher, he'll play every game if fit here.

Didn't realize he only signed in January for Villa.

Villa seem to buy and sell players for the sake of it.

He could do the job for us that Calvert Lewin did for Leeds.

Villa's finances are in an utter mess so they're forced to sell.

Also feels very Welbeck/Brighton and how pivotal he was to them

I’d ignore any of his stats pre-2024. The question is whether he can re-find his former level after his serious ACL injury. This is definitely a case of the name doing a lot of work rather than the reality of where he’s at now. But if he can get back to anywhere near his best it would be a good signing.
