He was more of a threat in the final stages when we pushed him up than Maeda or Fatawu were all game. He may well have been the only player to get in behind their back line, and he did so repeatedly. Just a shame his final ball was rushed (well defended). |  |

They were going through our midfield like a knife through butter in the first 20 minutes, then gradually both Palacios and Lukic got better and better and ended up two of our best performers, so I'd put that down to them not starting together before and would have no hesitation selecting them again at Palace. |  |

Utterly anonymous unfortunately. Although we more often tried to move the ball out to the right on the rare occasions we had it. Fatawu was no better. Really disappointing from him as he didn’t have the courage to take on his full back once (and was worse defensively), even when Kerkez was on a card. I know Kerkez is excellent, but if a player won’t back themselves there’s no point them being on the pitch. | |
