No - I think Diop plays and I think having those as your full backs makes things really hard. Also think you might have form of civil war between those three behind the forwards if they played with each other. |  | | |

I can’t see Flemming being a regular starter atm. He looks below Emersonn atm, but with the caveat that Emersonn will come in and out of the team at stages during the season.

Yesterday was the first time he's impressed me, but impress me yesterday he did. Much more controlled performance.
Also, wrt to the OP, Emersonn is playing brilliantly in ALL aspects of his role at the moment. Flemming might turn out to be a good option for some starts and to balance the workloads, but fitness permitting, Emersonn is nailed on at the moment for games where we expect to take it to the opposition and get aheadl |  |

He’s good at the out and out defending parts and a beast in the box, very good at organising too. He’s just got the turning circle of an oil tanker lol. He’s basically a PL version of Burgess. Having Greaves next to him in some way better than Dara, as Dara likes to step up into the tackles too. Greaves is a bit more mobile and good and mopping up (it’s why so many people think he’s crap and at fault for the goals, because often he’s the only one who’s able to get back to try and make the last challenge). That’s the way I see it anyway.
We’re still wasting Dara on the right of course, but for now we’re probably seeing our best back four. There’s a chance we could go Ouattara Diop DOS Leif at some point, but I suspect Ouattara would need a bit more work to get him up to Dara’s standard at RB (must do, otherwise we’d have seen him at RB by now). |  |
