| Player Watch: Stoke won again, but dropped Hirst and played Johnson as a 10! 22:33 - Sep 12 with 2724 views | unstableblue | Bonkers. Preston’s little uptick stalled losing at home to Lincoln, Clarke played the full 90, picking up a yellow card Baggot got 8mins off the bench for Millwall, as they lost 3-1 at Blackburn. Morsy played the full 90 for the former Premier League champions and provided an assist. Al Hamadi joined the Owl’s 0-0 home stalemate with Wigan in the 62nd minute, registering 0 shots. Cameron Humphreys was man of the match as Huddersfield failed to capitalise on home side Mansfield’s 47th min red card for Dodgson. Boniface didn’t make the bench for Orient in their 2-3 home loss to the Chairboys. El Mizouni started and Dobra came off the bench early for the home side. In case you missed it last Thursday, Tudor Mendel came on for Luton at 84 mins as they lost 2-1 away at Stevenage. Who have I missed? | |

Really surprised Burns opted to go there, I’d have taken my chances on something else next season even if it meant playing a handful this time.

Good work. Completely forgot the most obvious club! Burns seems to be moving to being a sub. Crazy in League 1. Huge win for Leicester. And Burns only came on at 87mins.

Probably because Burns tries to take the ball forward and score or create goals, when his 'manager' has instructed him to turn back and pass it around the horseshoe.

Just goes to illustrate why he should have opted for Everton or Newcastle when he left us, even Man Utd would have been a better bet than Chelsea but still a risky option!

Yes Burns was a late sub & Chaplin not in the squad, presumably injured. Burns was great for Town for 3 seasons, but the idea that he would be a useful member of our PL squad was pure fantasy.

I disagree. We’ve got worse players still at the club and our right side is our weakest areas, still. Plus he can play right back, a position we’re currently shoehorning a centre half into our options there are so poor. He’s not doing well at Leicester because the manager there is an expert at turning wine into wet, sopping Diarrhoea. It’s his entire gimmick. Haaland would struggle to play under that negative berk.

Rams logo'd windcheater, so I had to ask them what they thought of Szmodics. 'Bit of a luxury player' was the reply. I mentioned the reputation for being a bad influence in the dressing room but they didn't bite on that. Still, he played the whole match in their loss to Birmingham yesterday and laid on their solitary goal. [Post edited 13 Sep 20:55]

Good work. Szmodis is in that group of just released players of interest. As well as obviously any of our loanees.

And I was just clocking the 'Scores and fixtures' on the BBC and noticed that Dan Neil scored a brace for Rangers in their 3--0 League Cup defeat of Celtic (for whom Carter-Vickers played the whole game.)

3yr deal at £20k a week, at his age and how late he came to the party for big salaries, you can't blame him.
