This isn't a negative post at all! They got around each other eventually but I think the understated reaction shines a light on a group that are still very much finding their feet and building relationships as a group.
Ultimately I think that's hugely positive ... 6 points from 12 with a group that should only improve their understanding of each other and get better.

Maybe they just thought the second half wasn't up to the overall required standard I'm sure they'd set themselves. As ZF himself said in his interview, " we got away with murder a little bit ". No bullshit, just telling it like it is, and a very welcome breath of fresh air. |
It's quite a Roy Keane (the player, not the manager) attitude - not to celebrate because you're slightly fuming at yourself, knowing you've not been good enough. I like it, in a way.
Clearly the fans are rightly going to go bonkers celebrating, and we all love Chappers running across the pitch in his coat, but showing that kind of steel to finish the job professionally bodes well I think. I think there was a recognition, both among players and in Gary O 'Neil's post-match interview that the job couldn't been more comfortable than that. Got the impression GON didn't want to lump too much praise on the players and essentially said 'great but areas to improve etc' - just very pragmatic and helps drill in some of the emotional discipline that we probably didn't have post Leif's first goal at United. |  | | |
