...are Leeds really good or Newcastle really bad?

Toon are bloody lucky not to be 4-0 down, right now.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Hang on a bit, they're nearly at 4-0 now.

Farke has clearly learned a lot these past couple of years.

Howe could clearly see what was coming. Sell your best players, replace them with guff and you get found out. First time I've seen Newcastle this season but they're all a bit long ball and chase it.

They could potentially struggle. You hate to see it happen to the Kingdom of Saudi.

Newcastle are a shadow of what they have been. Getting torn apart here.

Don't forget Newcastle was Sir Bobby's club.

Sold 2 Ferraris and bought Vauxhalls.

Didn't help their main midfielder (Gonzalez) went off concussed earlier on either.

Both.

Leeds will be really good this season.

I only caught the end of the game. Did they explain why so many in the crowd were wearing yellow? Were they all away shirts, or just anything yellow?

Hang on, the company Vectra and Astra I had were good cars! So was the brown basic Nova saloon we bought as a second car back in the day!

Back to the OP I’ve seen a couple of Newcastle’s games (not tonight) and they looked alright, but nothing like the team of two years ago.

Well done Leeds. Farke might look like a Klingon Bird of Prey Captain, but it seems he’s learned as have Leeds who’ve gradually got stronger since he arrived there. Interesting that he’s not good enough for our neighbours.

losing Tonali, Guimares, Gordon and Isaak in 2 years is footballing suicide. Elanga, Wissa and Gozalez are decent, but a definite downgrade.

I remember when we looked at Farke and what Norwich were doing with some envy. Looked like really progress, with a great coach who played good football.

Then they did a Norwich. They can't even bring him back like they did with Mike Walker, because unlike Walker, Farke is a good manager and doesn't need to go back there!

I live up here, went to one of the pre season friendlies v Strasbourg (minus our two purchases), they were woeful. Relegation candidates without a doubt.
