Not really, I lived in Madrid for 3 years and did my driving lessons and test around Mostelés and Getafe. It's just they've been horrible to watch over the last few years, thuggish anti-football nonsense.
Having said that, I do have a strong dislike of Real, even when I lived there I much preferred Rayo Vallecano, even Atlético under Antic. Now with Mourinho there's even more reason to enjoy "galáctico" defeats and whinges.
I've only been to the new Camp Nou once and that was for a Champions League match last season and it is going to be impressive once complete. Massive upgrade on the old concrete bowl and neverending steps. Saw some decent matches there but it was a stadium on the verge of disintegration. | | | |

Ha yes, I've seen Getafe play more than once, and I remember a pugilistic defender who would fit nicely into the Paraguayan back line, if he was Paraguayan! Not exactly " sexy " football!
The old Camp Nou was in a better condition when I went there, years ago. They stuck us in the very top row of a stand, could have done with binoculars :)
I would imagine the new one is going to be pretty special when fully complete. Alas, I expect that's one I won't get to see in the flesh. | | | |

Prolific is not necessarily a requirement, i think he had enough about him, physically and intelligence-wise to cause CBs a lot of problems and also to link up play well. | |

I know our striking options aren't the best, Akpom being a bit of a hangover from our desperation to sign someone towards the end of the first 2025/26 transfer window, but theres a reason Vardy ended up at Burnley. |  |

Flemming is already a proven Premier League goalscorer and Emersonn has started very brightly. No way a 40 year old Vardy was a better option and Gabriel Jesus is already scoring goals for Barça so out of our range. I'd have Azón over Akpom but understand why that never happened. | | | |
