Loan (and ex Player) Watch - Tudor is taking off!! 09:37 - Oct 11 with 3195 viewsunstableblue

Humphreys - (Hudds Loan) - started wide left rather than central. A weaker game for him according to the FotMob rating, as Hudds draw 2-2 at home with the Owls. They remain 4th in League One.

Al Hamadi (Owls loan) - not in matchday squad

Tudor Mendel (Luton loan) - starts and plays 83 mins, with a decent 7.3 FotMob rating, as Luton win 4-1 away at Wycombe. Moving up to 13th.

Johnson (Stoke loan) - a strong 7.7 for Johnson at right wing back - a regular starter - in a 2-1 away win at Bolton. Stoke get the three points despite being down to ten men from 20mins. They actually went 2 up with whilst a player short, before Bolton got a consolation goal. Stoke are now flying and move 4th in the Championship.

Szmodics (Derby loan) - a MOTM performance playing attacking left midfield, and scores the goal to secure a 1-1 draw at home against Wrexham. Derby remain in the bottom 3.

Ogbene (Lincoln) - comes on as a 62min sub as the Imps lose 3-0 away at Sheff United.

Boniface (Leyton Orient loan) - remains injured. El Miz and Dobra are subs as Orient draw 0-0 at 2nd placed Bradford. Orient are 12th.

Van Oevelen - (Valencia loan) - they play Racing Santander today. Unused sub in last game (2-3 home loss to Real Sociedad). Remain rooted to the bottom La Liga. Didn’t realise Harvey Elliot was there. Not a good loan.

George Hirst (Stoke) - comes on as 69mins sub, 5.9 FotMob rating

Harry Clarke (Preston) - sadly comes off with an injury on 46mins. As Preston then lose 1-0 at home to Millwall, as the team that ‘no one likes’ scores in the 79mins to go 8th.

Elkan Baggot (Millwall) - Indonesian poster boy doesn’t make bench for Millwall win at Preston as they move to 8th. Don’t think he’s injured.

Chappers and Burns (Leicester) - the challenges continue at their new club. Foxes lose to lowly Posh - 1-3 at home. And sit 17th. Chappers is injured. Burns does come on as a sub on 46mins and assists Jackobsen on 68, but they’re already 3-0 down.

There you go. Who else?

According to my son, Azón didn't make it over the halfway line against Barca as Getafe successfully kept the score down to 3-0.

Valencia get a point - 2-2 away at Santander - but no Van Oevelen.. on 23:05 - Oct 11 with 1453 viewsunstableblue

… our Dutch ‘one for the future’ stopper was a sub again today.

Their clear number 1, Dimitrievski - the North Macedonian - gets another high FotMob rating.

Harvey Elliot comes on for Valencia on 58.

They move off the bottom, with Malaga now propping up La Liga.

Omari Hutchinson on for the last five minutes for AC Milan against Muric's Sassuolo.

Interesting range of clubs our ex-players turn out for these days.

5 games in at a massive club.

63mins out of 450 that Ac Milan have played ain’t a lot of game time.

Whereas he’d have been a starter at Forest.

Hope it works out, but not sure he’s getting the best advice.

He’d have been a starter here when he moved to Forest, he worked his way into the team and became a regular. I imagine he’ll do the same again. He’s a fantastic talent.

He was very naive in how he left, but he’s looking out for himself so he can become the best player he can be. AC are a top club, they are not the powerhouse they once were. He will have European football which appears to be a driver for him, not that it worked out for him at Forest!

Think you've got this muddled tbh.

He's at AC Milan because Amorim really wanted him, Glasner didn't, and this presented an opportunity for Forest to recoup their investment. There's no obligation to buy but an option at €40m if he impresses, which coupled with the loan fee would lead to Forest breaking even on the player should AC go for it (roughly).

Yes I missed a key factor here in that Glasner plays a 3-4-2-1… with two tucked in 10s (Ndoye and Gibbs-White) and wingbacks. So Omari was potentially NOT a starter at the City Ground as well, and as you say not favoured by Glasner.

Though interesting to note the article you shared that there is a chance he will return from the loan in January. Which makes it an even more questionable move.

But to the main point Omari is not featuring at AC Milan - which was similar to his start at Forest. He fought his way into the team there in part due to manager change. However at his age to be a benchwarmer is not good for his development.

Let’s see if he can get some game time over the coming weeks.

Barbrook played 85 mins for Falkirk

And it was Fin Barbrook who had his heels clipped for the penalty that opened the scoring, but Dundee scored two so...could have been three if an audacious lob from Jermaine's son Drey Wright succeeded from sixty yards out but Scott Bain got back just in time to tip it over.

Also John-Jules played the whole game for Kilmarnock and, I think, had a goal disallowed and hit the post as they lost 3-1 at Rangers.

Poll: To make him more acceptable what should Gary O'Neill change his middle name to ?

AC Milan. I'm sure a January recall would only be considered if he doesn't receive enough minutes in Italy, such that it becomes clear AC won't take up their option to buy in the summer. Doubtful there's a break clause in the event he's playing well there.

Similarly, I hope we look to recall KVO if he remains on the bench at Valencia. Even if not to play here, we should be able to find a more suitable opportunity for him.

I'll admit I'm not overly concerned if Omari finds himself playing at a lower level than Forest in years to come - don't wish him any ill will, just have a neutral opinion after how he left us. But I retain an interest in ex-Town players like yourself.
