I didn't realise there was a best available option. I just select two seats and hope np one else is going for the same ones. I think it was City tickets where I tried four or five times putting sets into my basket before being successful. | |

I'll look for that option next time. Just looked at the Stansted express from the airport to Tottenham Hale. The cost for two adult return tickets is £50. Which is more than we are paying to fly from Glasgow to Stansted and back. It will be cheaper to hire a car. [Post edited 15 Oct 18:47]

For Manchester City our train was £29 each for return tickets with insurance, in case of cancellation.
The train is straight through from Oxford to Manchester Piccadilly.
