| Still annoyed about the Leif “foul” in front of the away end 21:30 - Oct 17 with 1454 views | TresBonne | Must have been just after the break. Leif bundled over right in front of us, clear as day foul. The referee gave it the other way. Maintaining that that’s in the top 5 worst decisions I’ve ever seen go against us, a genuinely shocking one. We did well though, more than competitive, heads held high type performance again. Happy really. | |

| Still annoyed about the Leif “foul” in front of the away end on 23:46 - Oct 17 with 995 views | Garv | Have to disagree here, strongly. You're talking about the stock free kick that the majority of football fans want to see go in the bin. Player runs into a complete cul de sac, sticks his arse into the defender and falls over. They almost always get given, hence Davis handles the ball because he wrongly assumes his attempt at buying a foul has worked. He does it all the time, if anything he's too obvious with it. While it went against my team and obviously I would have loved a chance to sling a ball into the box, seeing referees waive away more attempts by players to buy cheap free kicks after falling to the floor should be celebrated. | |

He started doing this about two years ago and I hate it.

Love the guy but he looks an idiot when it doesn't work.

Inclined to agree. It does usually get given, but it was a bit too obvious that Leif was looking for it. There was some really poor officiating yesterday, but that one didn't really stand out.

" I will have my free kick now ref...." It's a very Sam Morsy move, very pushy and frankly a bit arrogant We should learn to play to the whistle, not try to do the Ref's job for him. Hopefully Leif will learn from this

I'm sorry this is not one of those stock tap in the back and go down type of free kicks that you are talking about. It's a full on shoulder in the back at pace. Just because he gets in front of his man to draw the foul, does not mean its automatically the same. Thats been a free kick forever. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I was directly 180° in line with the incident and he was definitely given a full on push in the back!

Agreed. Looked blatant from my position. Pretty sure the ref also gave a goal kick in that corner that should have been a corner.
