Reminded me Ivan Azon was on loan from them last season.

I have been watching some of the highlights and he must have missed 20+ goal scoring chances, if he could finish he would be some player.

Liked him regardless, seemed like a good egg did his bit and had a can do attitude.

He got better towards the end, still couldn't score goals mind. 5 in 38 after probably 20 - 30 clear goal scoring chances.

Maybe a change of position would suit him. Right back ha

To be fair to him he's back in his home country and playing in La Liga right now, which isn't to be sniffed at. Started at the Nou Camp a couple of weeks ago. Might be one to come of age at some point and start troubling the goalscoring column a bit more. Doesn't need to be a 20 goal a season man at that level but if he's hitting double figures he'll be fine.

His best game, that I can remember, was Southampton away. He bullied THB who is somehow back in the Premier League with Villa. He latched onto his own flick on to set up Burns for 1-0.

Bit of a chaos player, couldn't fault his effort.

He had a lot of chances, some looked great saves as they were from close distance. He missed a lot.

There was a lot of that narrative. I'd say yes and no... some of the saves were unbelievable but the keepers should never have been given a chance in the first place - both things can be true.

He was incredibly frustrating. Clearly had one of the few things you can't teach which is football intelligence - he made excellent runs and his positioning and movement was Premier level.

Just unfortunately had another attribute you can't teach which is the ability to fall over backwards just as you are about to strike the ball!

I watched somewhere the Como ownership heads saying they had a 10m offer from Southampton in the summer which was passed on.

Them loaning him again must think he will come good next few seasons.

His goal record is not as terrible as people make out. 31 in about 180 games. That will include lots of sub appearances.

Many striker struggle to hit double figures for the season. In fact only 12 strikers got over 10 goals last season in the champ.

He also brings a lot more than just goals to a team.

Obviously we needed to strengthen there but I think some of the criticism is harsh.
