Leicester fans really really not happy with Wes Burns.
Alright he may no longer been able to cut it with us this year but I would have thought he would have walked Div 1.
Is it him ?
Is it the way he is being played ?
Is he not fit ?

Leicester having 70% of the ball isnt gonna help wes
He needs balls to run onto. Not balls played to feet

More relevantly, he needs the ball playing FORWARD, rather than endlessly tippy-tapped around in midfield.

This. We had over 70% of the ball under KM in league 1 and Wes did more than ok.

I believe our average that season was 59%. Still the highest in the league tho

But as badge pointed out we were very forward thinking rather than 100 passes across the pitch

Bit of everything is my guess, especially loss of a yard of pace. Hardly surprising given injuries and age. Not seen much of Leicester, but from what I have seen, Wes has been no worse than most of the rest.

Ask them again a couple of months after Martin is sacked.

Wrong player for the wrong manager. Although Russell Martin is rubbish lol.

Can they afford to sack him? He might thoroughly ruin Wes and Chappers like his main influence, Paul Lambert did with an entire Town squad.

I think we were very fortunate to see the very best of Wes

And Chappers

Age is a cruel mistress

Like all of us, Wes isn’t getting any younger. He’s also had some injury issues as well. But the way Leicester play under that manager will not suit him.

Funny how you never see players in interviews saying 'he's made me a better player' about Russel Martin.

You can also blame fatherhood for a temporary loss of form. It happened to Chappers for a short period of time when he was with Town. O'Shea is losing a bit of form at present.

I’ve not seen Leicester this season, but can imagine they’re playing just like that with players receiving the ball with their backs towards the opposition goal. It’s just how he sets his teams up. There’ll be very few attempts at ball in behind to exploit Wes’ pace.
