Banned for 2 years, anyone else think it should be life?

Feel he's probably carried the can for at least a couple of teammates there but none the less, such poor sportsmanship

I suspect the international condemnation and humiliation is considered punishment enough.
It'll hopefully act a deterrent to other cheats.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

He'll need to find an alternative aerobic activity to keep his fitness at an optimum level for the duration of his ban.

(I feel I can say this as he is a confessed cheat.)

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Give him the birch. It's the only suitable response.

I wouldn't be surprised if he cashes in on notoriety, he's bound to get some media coverage

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Never thought of that one in my cricketing days. Mind you, even if I had I would never have done it. Absolutely no point in any achievements if you know cheating has lent a healthy contribution.

Sad state of affairs when you feel the need to cheat like that, those poor umpires being taken for a ride by that Club.

Makes a change from teams cheating, by not giving any Lbws when they’re batting.

Up and mainly down, following Town since 88

A two year ban. Meanwhile Tonda Eckert gets a 6 weeks suspended ban for systematically cheating for the whole club. Make it make sense.

I’m not in favour of lifetime bans. Everyone should be gin ‘em at least one opportunity to atone in cases like this imo. 2-3 yrs seems about right (as it would have for Eckert too).

Poll: Escaped Goat of the day. Who’s it going to be?

Got to be some product that would use him in their advertising!
