Doesn't help Mendy seems to have carte blanche to pull players down in the penalty area without punishment.

Listening on 5 live. Sounds excruciatingly frustrating.

It's like Hull put some sort of spell on teams.

They maintain their shape so they're difficult to attack?

Unless they're playing us, of course.

Looks like a better result last week doesn't it.

Not that we shouldn't have still been out of sight of course.

Arsenal are terrible to watch. No creativity at all.

They can certainly defend, which means our equaliser was very good, as they know how to defend.

However, should have been out of sight by half time.

Not very often I punch the air at a Arsenal goal. A few more please for the Gunners.

I know Hull work very hard and get away with a lot, but Arsenal really don't look that great do they. We look a classier more capable team than what I've seen of the Gooners so far - but that only amounts to half an hour or so this season!

Arsenal are a really dull team to watch - like a modern iteration of George Graham's 1-0 specialists.

They are unerringly effective, but don't score many and are miserly at the back. Doesn't usually make for great viewing.

Could do with a Toon goal now.

Newcastle take the lead too. If things stay this way it makes it a good day for us. Just need Citeh to spank Forest as well.

Fulham 1-1. Scrappy goal. Think draw is better for us.

Agreed - neither look great, so keep them both in the mix.

Depends if you're looking up or down. Personally, I'd rather we keep as much distance between us and Fulham for now. We can worry about what's going on above us later in the season if we look like surviving.

Exactly. Newcastle in particular look very ordinary.
