To a degree, although I reckonthe PL thrown up a lot of surprises now for 3 or 4 years. Normal service seems to be resumed this year though with the bigger teams stronger than they have been for a while. Even so, except for Chelsea and Spurs, smaller teams can beat the larger ones if they catch them on a bad day. Even Chelski and Spurs have had a couple of shocks lately.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Given Leicester's form towards the end of the season, perhaps they can contend again? :p

Love the Spurs/Arsenal nexus at the moment. Couldn't give two hoots about either in truth but funny Spurs getting all cock-a-hoop, though they aren't going to win anything, again.

And Eric Cantona doesn't count because he is an actor not a footballer. So Kante is the first.

I know it's pedantic, but Leeds were the last club to win the old Division 1, so Cantona didn't win the Premiership in successive years with two different clubs.

I don't think Schwarzer should count, either. That would make him more John Terry than John Terry.
